And they took down live versions of songs ive uploaded. SEVEN to be exact. So basically my tumblr may not be around much longer because of these multiple copyright violations even though these are LIVE versions of songs that regina knows about and has said she’s ok with ppl sharing (respektonline.com or reginaspektor.net) and demo versions of songs not even available for purchase like december and scarecrow and fungus! I’M SO PISSED. So if reginaholic dissapears then you know why. I’ll be crying. It just isn’t fair, i’m SPREADING the regina love not taking away any of it or infringing upon it…

Huh, so that’s where that wedding post went (for a split-second I thought I accidentally deleted it from my blog). Anyway, they’re just being ridiculous and I don’t understand how they supposedly own the rights to live songs or unreleased demos (unless they’re on the new album or something…?) because it seriously pissed me off when I tried to post a “December” video I made on YouTube and it was immediately taken down because it matched the Audio Content ID. That song shouldn’t be on any ID system - it’s an unreleased demo and should be virtually nonexistent in the “copyright world”. -_- But whatever.

Edit: Okay, so December isn’t so unreleased as I thought. Undo typing. However, that doesn’t make it okay that they’re kind of treating fans unfairly. It’s unreasonable to shut down a fan blog for posting songs by the artist that the fan blog is about. Where do you think your money comes from, record labels? Right. The fans. Us. And fan blogs are basically promoting and advertising the things that you sell so that people know about them and buy them.
